So is the ambassador the highest and best one? I’m in Roseburg, was wondering to go to the Eugen or Salem maaco

With this video being so low resolution it serves no purpose.

mckee20101 May 27, 2012 at 3:43 AM

how accurate was the quote they gave you?

slimdelsol May 27, 2012 at 4:26 AM

Did u suck maaco’s dick?

johnbrakingground May 27, 2012 at 4:46 AM

Not chipping or flaking overall still real nice. I do however feel that it is a 1/10 of a shade lighter than it was 1.5 years ago. But for the money still very impressed.

How’s paint holding up now?

myvidstv1 May 27, 2012 at 6:38 AM

How long did they have your car

SuperLakeith May 27, 2012 at 7:01 AM

how long does it take to finish?

johnbrakingground May 27, 2012 at 7:09 AM

don’t sand the paint off, just rough the surface up with a green scratch pad til there are no shiny spots on the car. Yes its cheaper and way better if you do some of the prep.

yungdrake1 May 27, 2012 at 7:33 AM

is it cheaper if you sand off all the paint yourself? i qanted to get the signature paint job but i keep hearing bad feedback from maaco and i hear a couple good ones i wanna know before i throw my money down the drain

MrKaoVue May 27, 2012 at 7:37 AM

lol nice, so do you sand your car yourself or? is it cheaper if you sand it yourself?

johnbrakingground May 27, 2012 at 8:15 AM

Right, And it still looks great over a year later. Not one flake or bubble.

MrKaoVue May 27, 2012 at 8:46 AM

wow thas not bad.

johnbrakingground May 27, 2012 at 9:16 AM

I paid 299.00 for the paint job and $50 for some extra rear bumper work. Out the door was $350.

MrKaoVue May 27, 2012 at 9:48 AM

how much exactly did you get this painted?

ballpython778899 May 27, 2012 at 10:22 AM

so you only paid 299.00 for the paint job

Ratianon1 May 27, 2012 at 10:59 AM

Key to a good lasting and looking paint is all in the prep. If you want it to last fix the dings, dents, sand off the old dead paint and it will most allways look great. Go in there with dents not fixed dead paint not removed and so on and not pay them to do it, well……….you get what you get then.

I’m planning to have this done to a Honda Accord once I have some body work done. It looks like you’re happy with the turnout so I should be as well!

johnbrakingground May 27, 2012 at 12:26 PM

The paint still looks good as the day it came out of the booth. Very happy with my expierience with Macco.

jahman20002000 May 27, 2012 at 12:35 PM

how is the paint holding up im taking my car in for the signature job though.. have a few rust spots will cost me 1600

johnbrakingground May 27, 2012 at 1:02 PM

No clear for that price, but it was a single stage enamel paint, it wasn’t meant to have a clear coat applied. Almost every vehicle made up to the 1980’s was a single stage paint.

paper000000 May 27, 2012 at 2:01 PM

Do they also put a clear coat on for that price?

johnbrakingground May 27, 2012 at 2:46 PM

2-3 days from the day i dropped it off. Getting ready to take my Dakota in for a similar paint job within the next month.

JRock005 May 27, 2012 at 3:13 PM

How long did it take them to paint your car?
